The reserve wakes in a particular order, and our resident ecologist can name every voice in it. This walk starts before sunrise and moves slowly along the water, where the density of species is highest.
Binoculars and a scope are provided. So is a flask of coffee, which experience suggests matters more than either.
Sightings vary entirely by season — we make no promises about what you will see, only about when to be standing still.
