A farm in the hills above Pokhara.

Twenty kilometres from the city, in the foothills of Machhapuchhre. A working farm with somewhere to stay attached to it — built slowly, and still being built.

Our Philosophy

A farm you can stay on

Peace Glory sits about 20 kilometres from Pokhara, in the foothills of Machhapuchhre. Eco-tourism, organic farming, wellness and simple living were never meant to be separate things here. They were meant to be one place.

It is still early. Much of what is planned has not been built, and building this far from the city has been slower and harder than any drawing suggested. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.

The Farm

Seed. Grow. Harvest. Table.

Everything served at the long table began a few hundred metres away, in soil we have spent years rebuilding. Follow it from seed to plate.

  • No-dig beds, never left bare
  • Seed saved from our strongest plants each season
  • Every scrap composted and returned to the ground

Accommodation

Stay With Us

Our accommodations are designed as private sanctuaries, blurring the lines between indoors and out, built with deep respect for the surrounding landscape.

Farm to Table

A Menu Without a Plan

The menu is written after the morning harvest, never before it. What peaked overnight leads the meal — which is why we cannot tell you in advance what you will eat.

Sustainability

Treading lightly. Living deeply.

Treading lightly is not a marketing position here — it is the constraint every decision is made inside. You are welcome to inspect any of it.

Regenerative Cultivation

No-dig beds, permanent ground cover and compost returned to the soil each season. We measure success by soil organic matter, not yield alone.

Closed-Loop Water

Rainwater is harvested from every roof, greywater is treated through reed beds, and the farm is irrigated from a spring we monitor continuously.

Renewable Energy

Low-profile solar arrays integrated into the roofline, paired with battery storage sized to carry the estate through the evening peak.

Waste to Compost

All organic waste — kitchen, garden and bedding — is composted on site in managed windrows and returned to the growing beds.

Beyond the Estate

Explore the Surroundings

The estate sits inside a much older landscape. Walk out of the gate and you are on drove roads that have been used for centuries.

Ancient Trails

Drove roads and pilgrim routes cross the ridge above the estate, worn into the rock in places and walkable in half a day.

Heritage Villages

A string of stone villages along the valley road, home to the weavers, cheesemakers and beekeepers we work with.

Guest Stories

What people take away

Illustrative guest reflections — independently verified reviews will be published once our review programme is live.

We came for three nights and spent most of them doing nothing at all, which turned out to be exactly what we needed. The silence is the luxury.

Guest reflectionThe Canopy Suite

I have stayed in a lot of places that call themselves eco. This is the first one where I could actually see how it worked — the compost, the water, the roof. They show you.

Guest reflectionThe Earth Villa

Our children spent a full day pulling weeds and collecting eggs and talked about nothing else for a month afterwards.

Location

A Journey to Serenity

The final approach is a single-track valley road. It takes a while, and that is rather the point.
